Cable Cars Ft. Nate Fakes

LA-based, coffee lover and cartoonist Nate Fakes normally works for an in-house agency where he creates cartoons for Red Bull. He's also worked with clients such as MAD Magazine, New York Times, 21st Century Fox, Warner Bros. and Costco. "This collection is based on one of the most notorius landmarks of our home ski-resort Åre." "Kabinbanan" (the Cable Car) was inaugurated May 6, 1976 and cost just over 70 million to build, which was a disaster when the budget had been one tenth by 7 million. It was also later discovered that it was built in a very exposed place for both wind and ice. But despite these problems that this lift has gone through, it has become a very strong and dear symbol for Åre and will sadly be removed in the next few years.
